Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon, her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s best friend, had a close encounter during the Toronto International Film Festival. The singer attended the screening of the film “Unstoppable,” which she stars in and which the actor produced.
However, what caught attention was that while both remained seated in the corner of an armchair while they chatted and held hands.
A source told People magazine that they had a “long, deep conversation” lasting more than 20 minutes.

Days after it was revealed that the two stars had a private conversation, an insider revealed to the Daily Mail that the screenwriter was allegedly not entirely comfortable.
According to this person, the producer “prevented any attempt” by the singer to talk about Ben Affleck during the premiere.
“The timing of it was bad, because she knew that taking him aside at the event to chat would have repercussions and go viral,” she explained.
According to the newspaper’s informant, although the gesture of holding on was “a nice touch”, “he was not interested in knowing anything.”
“She told him she was glad he was okay and thanked him for being on the tape, but made it clear she wasn’t there to talk about Ben at all,” he said.
Ben Affleck would have been jealous of Matt Damon
The friendship between Ben Affleck and Matt Damon is known to date back to their childhood, however, the Batman star is reportedly jealous of the latter.
“Ben is particularly vulnerable and feeling humiliated after his failed marriage to Jennifer Lopez,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“He broke down in tears and told Matt that he is jealous of him and his lifestyle, that he has everything he wants: a happy marriage of almost 20 years and children who live with him,” he added.
The ‘Armageddon’ star reportedly admitted that he has “chosen the wrong path” many times and has watched his partner follow the “right one time and time again.”
