Lana del Rey surprised her followers with the news of her wedding with alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene. The couple celebrated their union in an intimate ceremony in a Louisiana swamp, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The 39-year-old actress said “I do” to her partner in Des Allemands, Louisiana, United States. According to People, the wedding took place in the public swamp where Dufrene works as a captain for the tourist company Arthur’s Airboat Tours.
The aforementioned magazine also reported that prior to the wedding celebration, the couple received a marriage license from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court in Louisiana on September 23. According to the law in that state, the license allows a couple to marry within 30 days of having applied to get married.
For the wedding, Lana del Rey wore a white dress that had a ruffled neckline. Her hair was pulled back with a light blue ribbon with her curls falling over her left shoulder. For his part, Dufrene wore a dark suit, a white shirt and brown shoes.
Lana del Rey and Jeremy were seen publicly a few months ago, although they have both known each other since 2019 , but it was not until September 7 when Lana made their relationship public when they appeared together at model Karen Elson’s wedding in New York.
Lana Del Rey ‘s now-husband has two daughters and a son from his previous relationship. Jeremy is dedicated to organizing boat tours to see the swamp’s alligators up close.
