A’ja Wilson crowned MVP of Paris 2024
It was a double celebration for A’ja Wilson, who, in addition to adding the second Olympic gold medal of her career, was recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Women’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024.
Wilson proved why he is one of the biggest stars in world basketball with another outstanding campaign. He was a dominant force in the final, recording 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the gold medal match.
Throughout the competition, he averaged 18.7 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.7 blocks per game, while shooting 59.2% from the field. This contributed to an impressive efficiency rating of 25.7.
