My Hero Academia Season 7: Release Date, Synopsis, Trailer
Season 7 of ‘My Hero Academia’ will finally dive into a final saga that hasn’t ended yet in the manga. But the truth is, we don’t know if we’re ready to say goodbye to one of the most successful Japanese anime series of recent years. Based on the manga ‘Boku no Hero’ by Kōhei Horikoshi, this saga will continue to conquer its fans in 2024, so we’re reviewing everything we know about the release date of season 7 of ‘My Hero Academia’, as well as more details about the story and the possibility that it’s the farewell for fans.
The announcement of the start of production was published in March 2023, so it is no surprise that the series has not been delayed.
Since 2016, ‘My Hero Academia’ has been the anime that everyone is talking about thanks to an incredibly entertaining plot, endearing characters, and lots and lots of action. The story is set in a world where part of the population has developed superpowers, which separates them into two distinct groups: heroes and villains. The protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, will follow in the footsteps of his idol, All Might, to become the best superhero of all time. It all starts with his studies at UA (Hero Academy), and from there, he will have to face challenges with his new friends and allies, who will help him overcome the threats that arise.
Available among the best Crunchyroll series, Netflix let it slip away. The series premieres its seventh season in 2024. Thus, we will continue to explore the story’s mythology (for example, the meaning of the names of the characters in ‘My Hero Academia’ ), and we will discover what is next for Midoriya.

In addition, the fourth film from ‘My Hero Academia’ will arrive in the summer of 2024, probably coinciding with the break, although we still don’t know how related it will be to the season. When we know the exact date, we will be able to see if it is a film designed to arrive after the series, fill a break in the weekly broadcast, or simply coincide with it in parallel.
Will “My Hero Academia” Season 7 be the last for the series?
At the end of season 6, the so-called “final saga” began, but the truth is that this outcome is dragging on. Season 7 of ‘My Hero Academia’ will dive right into this final saga, but it will not be possible for it to reach the end because we do not yet have it in the manga. Apparently, the creator of the manga, Kōhei Horikoshi, expressed his desire to end the story on paper at the end of 2023. Something that, although he has not fulfilled it, tells us that there should be little left.
Season 6 is adapted up to chapter 328 of the manga. There are currently three other volumes published, up to chapter 362, which could well make up season 7. However, there would still be the final notes in an 8th season that should adapt the end of a manga that is being delayed more than expected. We already know how shonen authors get confused with endings that, from being so immense, get out of hand…
Of course, delays are more common than usual in this industry, and we may have to wait longer than we expect. We don’t know if the mangaka will finish on time, or if Studio Bones will be able to move its machinery fast enough to release the adaptation of that ending as soon as possible. Will continue to follow the news to see when we can see more episodes of the series, which has conquered half the world. We leave you with the opening of this new season:
