The full trailer for “Longlegs,” Neon’s new horror film, has been released on social media. Directed by Osgood Perkins, it will be released in our theaters on September 27, 2024, just over 2 months after its release in the USA.
The film features Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe in the main roles. Monroe plays an FBI agent in charge of a complex and disturbing case, while Cage plays a chilling serial killer.
The film follows FBI agent Lee Harker (Monroe), a talented rookie who takes on an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the investigation progresses, Harker uncovers hidden, personal connections to the killer, sparking a race against time to stop him before he kills another innocent family. Blair Underwood and Alicia Witt are also members of the cast. “Longlegs” has been rated “R” for graphic violence, disturbing images, and use of strong language.
Produced by Cage himself through his company Saturn Films, along with Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh–Jones, Dave Caplan, and Chris Ferguson, “Longlegs” is presented as a psychological thriller that follows the tradition of Hollywood classics.
