Indeed, you may glance at that and realize, Sounds like she likes musicians, actually. Del Rey will zig, nevertheless, when you want her to zag. Her most recent reported beau is a man offering airboat tours of alligators in Louisiana.
Del Rey was seen hugging Jeremy Dufrene behind Leeds Festival in the United Kingdom over the weekend. An enthusiastic admirer caught the scene, apparently unconcerned about Dufrene lessening importance.
The couple was also seen dining together at a nearby pub and shopping at Harrods in London, according to The Daily Mail. Quick to offer opinions on the singer’s new man and appearance, the r/LanaDelRey sub-Reddit sent pictures of the outing (he looks like what you would expect a Louisiana gator professional to look like).
One Commenter said, “I love her but she really has the weirdest taste in men.” Another, referencing Del Rey’s forthcoming country album Lasso, said, “She’s cosplaying swamp so she has a reason to use it for the album.”
Now, how would Lana Del Rey meet someone offering alligator excursions? Apart from the fact that she seems to be the kind of person that would be interested in that kind of man, the response is really straightforward. Del Rey traveled on an alligator trip sponsored by Dufrene back in 2019. She posted “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours” on Facebook along with a picture showing her driving the boat with Dufrene by her side (the firm is actually named Airboat Tours by Arthur, but who cares)? These two therefore really go rather far back.
Del Rey returned on the alligator trip in May before of her performance at Hangout Music Festival in Alabama, apparently reconnecting earlier this year. She even labeled him as “my guy” in her Instagram caption.
More importantly, though, I find this alligator trip fascinating even though I am sending all my love to Lana in her new romantic effort. That she returned a second time years later is just fantastic. According to the Daily Mail, Glenn Powell has also gone and Kate Hudson visited lately.
