Woman suing Sean “Diddy” Combs for sexual abuse claims she was pregnant
Rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, detained in a federal prison in New York, faces a new civil lawsuit, in this case from a woman who claims that Diddy abused her for four years and left her pregnant.
The woman, whose name has not been released, filed a lawsuit against the entertainer on Friday alleging that Combs ‘ sexual abuse began in 2020 and spanned four years to the present, causing her anxiety, depression and fear for her safety.
The suit seeks damages and injuries “as a direct and proximate result of the artist’s unlawful conduct,” according to People magazine.
The plaintiff, identified as “Jane Doe,” met the singer abroad and he invited her on a trip where he paid for her transportation, according to the legal document cited by People.
After that trip, she and Combs reunited and began seeing each other regularly, and starting in 2021, he began forcing her to travel with him.
She alleges that Combs and others not only used language and tactics to force her to act against her will, but also unwittingly drugged her with alcohol and unknown substances.
The woman, who says she is between 18 and 55, says in her complaint that she prefers to remain anonymous out of “embarrassment” and because she fears further psychological harm if her identity is made public.
According to People, ‘Jane Doe’ claims that in April 2022 Combs forced her to have sex without her consent at his home in Los Angeles. She also claims that that year she became pregnant after being forced again by Combs to go to his home.
The woman says she had a miscarriage and did not speak to Combs or his team for three months.
The artist sought her out again and, according to the lawsuit, on each visit he “forced her to perform for him” and “plied her with alcohol and other substances until she passed out.”
Also, at Combs’ request, her employees recorded their sexual encounters despite her objections.
The 54-year-old singer, who was being investigated for human trafficking and sexual abuse, was arrested on September 16 in New York and after the first hearing, the judge determined that he should remain in prison.
His arrest came after he received ten complaints of sexual abuse and rape from several women over the past year, allegations Combs has denied.
Following his arrest, new cases have emerged against him. Last Wednesday, Thalia Graves filed a civil suit for damages, alleging that the rapper and his bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, drugged and raped her, filming the assault.
