IFC Films released the trailer for ‘Oddity’, a supernatural horror movie from writer-director Damian McCarthy that follows the mysterious circumstances that arise after a murder. The movie will hit theaters in the United States on July 19, 2024.
A plot full of revenge and mystery
The story of “Oddity” centers on Dani’s brutal death in the country house she and her husband Ted were renovating. The main suspicion falls on a patient at Ted’s psychiatric hospital, but the suspect also appears dead shortly after the murder.
A year later, Darcy, Dani’s blind twin sister and self-proclaimed psychic, unexpectedly visits Ted and his new partner, Yana. Believing that her sister’s murder hides more secrets, Darcy takes cursed items from her collection with him to unravel the truth and seek revenge.
