A new teaser trailer has just been released for “Megalopolis,” the long-awaited film by Francis Ford Coppola. This ambitious project, financed by Coppola himself with more than 100 million dollars, will finally be distributed in Spain by Tripictures.
“Megalopolis,” set in futuristic New York, features an epic showdown between a visionary architect and the city’s mayor in the midst of an unprecedented financial crisis. With a cast that includes Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, and Nathalie Emmanuel, the film promises an intense narrative along with a striking visual line.
The world premiere of “Megalopolis” will take place at the Cannes Film Festival this month, and its French premiere is scheduled for fall. Megalopolis is scheduled to release on May 17, 2024.
