The series “From” has been slowly gaining followers with its horror and mystery approach and is becoming one of the sensations of the year after its second season raised the bar, even being compared to the legendary Lost. But, as we have already said recently, “From” is more than the terrifying version of ‘Lost’.
Since its debut in 2022, the series story has been available on HBO. Max follows the inhabitants of a mysterious town who are forced to stay there by unknown forces. Nocturnal killer creatures, supernatural experiences, visions, voices, symbols, apparitions… The ball of mysteries grows bigger and bigger until it catches us like no other series has done for a long time. Even Stephen King is hooked on “From”. And that’s saying something.
The season 2 finale of ‘From’ has left us with more questions than answers, but we have some very good news: Season 3 will continue to raise and resolve the series’ mysteries.
From season 3 Release date
If we stick to what we know, MGM+ (the channel that produces ‘From’ in the US) has maintained a fairly tight schedule, and seasons have arrived annually despite modern television’s propensity for endless breaks between batches of episodes. In addition, the Hollywood writers’ strike delayed initial plans.
Finally, the network has officially announced that season 3 of ‘From’ will arrive in fall 2024.
From season 3 Synopsis
Bender described the season 2 finale of ‘From’, saying, “It’s a really powerful, crazy, climactic finale,” suggesting that major changes are coming.
He also shared information about Season 3 in Summer 2023, stating that “everything we’ve seen will get worse in Season 3; it will be like quicksand.”
If we take into account what has happened so far in the series (WARNING SPOILERS), season 3 of ‘From’ still has to clarify what happened when Victor was a child (Did his mother return to the real world when she died? ), the fate of Fatima’s baby, what the symbol really means, who are the children in Tabitha and Jade’s visions, where Tabitha is, what are the killer night creatures, and, above all, what is happening in the city of ‘From’ and why.
From season 3 Cast
Much of the cast of ‘From’ returned for Season 2, and that trend will likely continue with Season 3. Must-haves include Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, the town’s sheriff and de facto mayor; Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews; Eion Bailey as Jim Matthews; David Alpay as Jade Herrera; Elizabeth Saunders as Donna Raines; Ricky He as Kenny Liu; and Scott McCord as Victor.
Also returning are Chloe Van Landschoot as Kristi Miller, Corteon Moore as Ellis Stevens, Pegah Ghafoori as Fatima Hassan, Avery Konrad as Sara Myers, Simon Webster as Ethan Matthews, and Hannah Cheramy as Julie Matthews, as well as new Season 2 additions Angela Moore as Bakta, Deborah Grover as Tillie, AJ Simmons as Randall, Nathan D. Simmons as Elgin, and Kaelen Ohm. as Marielle.
The upcoming season is also likely to introduce new characters as the plot develops and expands.
