David Lynch New Project Announced for June 5
The acclaimed David Lynch has left his followers intrigued with a mysterious announcement on social networks. Using X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Lynch posted a video on May 25, Memorial Day, in which he mentions that something big is coming.
In the video, Lynch stated, “Ladies and gentlemen, something is coming… for you to see and hear.” This message, although brief and cryptic, has caused excitement among the fans of the renowned filmmaker. Without providing specific details, he made it clear that the event would take place on June 5.

Lynch’s past and future projects
Lynch’s last television foray, “Twin Peaks: The Return,” ended in 2017 on Showtime. More recently, Lynch has been working on an animated project titled “Snootworld.” This script was created two decades ago in collaboration with Caroline Thompson, known for her work with Tim Burton on films such as “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Edward Scissorhands.”
Lynch described “Snootworld” as a “latently dated” story, centering on tiny creatures called “The Snoots,” who undergo a ritual transition at age eight, after which they become even smaller and are sent away for a year. for your protection. Despite having presented the project to Netflix and having been rejected, Lynch remains hopeful of finding support to bring this story to the screen.
