Pierce Brosnan delves into horror cinema with “Wolfland,” a film directed by Sean Brosnan that addresses the myth of the werewolf. The plot follows a teenager whose sister suffers a brutal attack and shows signs of a mysterious transformation, leading him on a search for a werewolf hunter to reverse the curse.
The story complicates when the hunter, who initially rejects the mission out of skepticism and disillusionment, accepts the job and faces unexpected challenges. Imaginarium Studios, the company founded by Andy Serkis, known for his work on “Planet of the Apes” and “The Lord of the Rings,” will handle special effects and creature design.
Sean Brosnan, in addition to directing, co-wrote the film’s script. “Wolfland” is presented as a new addition to the horror genre, with a focus on the legend of werewolves.
