Christopher Reeve’s son will make a cameo in the new “Superman” movie
Iconic actor Christopher Reeve’s son, Will Reeve, will appear in the next DC Universe film directed by James Gunn, “Superman.” Reeve is remembered for his portrayal of the superhero in the ’70s and ’80s, establishing a lasting legacy in the world of superhero cinema.
According to Variety, Will Reeve, a journalist and correspondent for ABC News, will make a brief cameo in the film. Although no details about his role have been revealed, an image from the set shows Reeve alongside James Gunn and some of the crew.
The cast of this new film includes David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Skyler Gisondo, Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Anthony Carrigan, and Maria Gabriela De Faria, among others. The film is part of the first phase of the new DC Universe, “Chapter One: Gods and Monsters,” and will be released in theaters on July 11, 2025.
