Who is Ella Emhoff, Kamala Harris’s influencer stepdaughter, who sets trends with her looks

Among his family members, there was one who caught the attention for the cap he was wearing. It was Ella Emhoff, Harris’ stepdaughter, who wore a camouflage baseball cap – an accessory that has gone viral – with the legend “Harris Waltz” written on the front in orange letters.

The phrase was a reference to Kamala’s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz. Three thousand caps were sold in just 30 minutes, shortly after the announcement.

Ella Emhoff began gaining notoriety since the vice president became President Joe Biden’s running mate. Now that Harris will likely face former President Donald Trump, Ella could become part of the “first family.”

Who is Ella Emhoff, Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter?

Ella Emhoff is the daughter of Doug Emhoff and his first wife, Kerstin Emhoff. Kamala Harris became a stepmother to Ella and Cole when she married Doug Emhoff in 2014.

She was in high school when her father married Harris and began her senior year when Harris was sworn into the U.S. Senate.

In addition to being the vice president’s stepdaughter, the young woman is a model and has embarked on a career in the world of fashion and design.

A week after she went viral for wearing a gem-covered Miu Miu coat to Biden’s 2021 inauguration, Ella signed a contract with modeling agency IMG Models Worldwide. She has also modeled for Balenciaga and Adidas by Stella McCartney.

In 2021, she graduated from Parsons School of Design and founded the knitwear brand, Soft Hands. She also teaches knitting classes.

In July, Ella came to Harris’ defense when Republican vice presidential candidate and Ohio Sen. JD Vance resurfaced his remarks, calling Harris and other female lawmakers “childless cats” “who are frustrated with their lives and the choices they’ve made.”

Emhoff shared an image on his Instagram account with a caption that read: “How can you be ‘childless’ when you have two such beautiful children like Cole and I?”
