Bad Bunny revealed his mental health problems: “I thought it was the end”

Amid the success of Debí tirador más fotos, his most recent album, Bad Bunny dedicated an interview to talk about mental health and the challenges he has had to overcome in his rise to fame.

Bad Bunny’s message about mental health

According to the reggaeton singer in a chat with Apple Music, in the early years of his career as an artist he faced feelings of hopelessness and insecurity. At that time, he was far from being a recognized musician and worked as a cashier in a supermarket.

“I remember when I turned 20 I was depressed. thought I was going to die and that it was the end of my life. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m 20. I’m a fucking old man! I’m about to die!’ I thought it was the end,” Bad Bunny said.

Although his mental health has improved over time, the 30-year-old Puerto Rican mentioned that he is a man given over to his emotions and that one of his main problems is overthinking certain situations, despite how much this may affect him.

“I’m learning not to think so much and to simply trust in life, in God and in the process. However, now that I’m 30, people are starting to ask me if I’m going to get married or have children, so you start to wonder if you’re wrong,” concluded ‘El conejo malo’, who also recalled that January 13th is World Day Against Depression.

Alert for scam with fake Bad Bunny video on ‘Noticias Caracol’

A fake report, created using artificial intelligence (AI), is circulating on social media, in which the image of the Caracol Televisión newscast is used  to promote a system that supposedly allows people to earn large sums of money in a short period of time.

“ Young crypto-tycoon Diego Romero, originally from Colombia, developed together with Bad Bunny a new analysis method for the cryptocurrency market that provides stable and secure income to anyone interested,” the fake news presenter is heard saying.

The same video shows a fictional Bad Bunny talking about the supposed benefits of accessing these methods. However, it is all part of a setup to deceive unsuspecting social media users.
