The Russian President, Vladimir Putinwill entertain his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinpingwith sturgeon soup and roast venison with cherry sauceas it appears on the dinner menu of the two leaders in the Kremlin.
The menu, according to the TASS agency, includes seven courses between appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, soup, main course and dessert.
Journalist Pavel Zarubinknown for his coverage of all the official acts of the head of the Kremlin, posted on his Telegram channel the photo of the menu, in which you can see the list of dishes under a golden coat of arms of Russia.
Tops the list an aperitif of seafood from the Russian Far East, followed by an hors d’oeuvre of pancakes with quail and mushrooms.
Afterwards, both heads of state will be able to enjoy a sturgeon soup with rasstegaisome typical Russian dumplings, usually stuffed with fish.
As a main dish, diners will be able to choose between white salmon with vegetables and a roast deer with cherry sauce.
And for dessert, Putin and Xi will be able to savor a pavlova cakea meringue dessert named after the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlovaalong with a pomegranate sorbet.
The Chinese president arrived in Russia on Tuesday for a three-day state visit, during which the two leaders will discuss China’s peace initiative for Ukraine and discuss bilateral issues tomorrow, Tuesday.
Putin and Xi, who last visited Russia four years ago, have met forty times, the Russian president has admitted.
