ANDthe central defender Pedro López is no longer a Lugo footballer after having terminated his contract with the Galician club, with which this season he hasn’t gotten any minutes in LaLiga SmartBank after undergoing surgery for a hip injury at the end of June. Lugo explained in a statement that he offered the player a loan to another team until the end of the season, an offer to which he responded with a counteroffer:seek a mutually agreeable termination and severance.
Lugo accepted the player’s decision, which Thus ends his stage in the team in which he was trained and with which he debuted in professional football in the 2017/18 season both in Second and in the Copa del Rey. In the 2019/20 campaign, Pedro López, who recently turned 25, was on loan to Unionistas de Salamanca, with whom he played 20 games, 19 as a starter, in Second B.
Last season he returned to Lugo, although he was only able to play four games, three as a starter, and at the end of the season he underwent surgery on his hip.
