Spain maintains the seventh position in the FIFA ranking after its last update in what is the best historical classification of the national team. The team led by Jorge Vilda is one of the 16 teams that will play, between July 6 and 31, the European Championship in England that could substantially alter this classification for the next review that will take place on August 5.
The ranking is still led by the United States (2104.25 points) who is accompanied on the podium by Sweden (2104.25) and France (2104.25). After they follow Netherlands (2013.34), which moves up one position from the last classification, Germany (2010.39), canada (2003.01) and Spain (1985.84).
The top 15 world complete it England (1982.05), Brazil (1973.86), North Korea (1940), Norway (1914.9), Australia (1912.74), japan (1910.67), Italy (1904.33) and Denmark (1871.96).
