Aurlien Tchouamani is, regardless of the variables that may apply in the future, the fourth most expensive signing in the history of Real Madrid. Only three players have involved a larger outlay by the white club: Gareth bale (Tottenham, 2013), Eden hazard (Chelsea, 2019) and Christian Ronaldo (Manchester United, 2009).
Next appears the player recently signed by the white club, who has had to pay 80 million euros to the AS Monaco to get hold of the services of the French international. Interestingly, the next on the list is another player from the Principality club, the Colombian James Rodríguez, who arrived in Madrid after the 2014 World Cup in exchange for 75 million euros.
Tchouamni is also confirmed as the most expensive midfielder in the history of Madrid, ahead of Zidanefor which 73.5 million were paid in 2001, and kak65 in 2009. Eder Military50 million in 2019, is the only defender who appears among the white club’s most expensive signings.
