Vladimir Solovyov is known for being one of the Kremlin’s propagandists and loyal supporters of the Russian invasion of Ukraine ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin. But in recent weeks, his statements have been quite controversial, in which charges against Western countries, NATO and “the allies of the Ukrainian enemy”.
Solovyov assured at the end of April that “there will be no mercy in the war against Europe”, stating that “we must not only denazify Ukraine, but the world in general, and we have to act differently and do it much harder”.
A few days later, the Russian tycoon, who saw how the Italian government confiscated his goods and properties after the sanctions imposed on Russia, charged again against the NATO countries. In this particular case, he threatened the UK with launch the RS-28 Sarmat, its intercontinental missile, against British territory.
“A Sarmat would be bad news against the UK,” Moscow’s spokesman said on state television. “Because they have become totally rude.”
Now, in a debate in the Russian state media Rossiya 1, in a supposed political debate program. The propagandist assured that the world was facing the “bloody pages of world history” with everything “moving in that direction”. “I hope we survive this. If everything continues to progress as it is, only a couple of mutants will survive in Lake Baikai (in Siberia).”
On the other hand, they hope to cause “a rift in British society” after two British citizens, Shaun Pinner and Aiden Aslin, are to be shot, hanged, quartered or traded for ransom.
“If NATO decides that they can put whatever they want on our borders, they will send more and more American weapons to Ukraine, Ukraine will shoot and end up hitting one of our nuclear power plants, and here we go”, he said, adding that the process will become “rapidly uncontrollable”. “Everyone will get more than they asked for. There will be an explosion and there will be nothing left.”
