Barcelona could win its seventh League -and third in a row- this weekend. They will do so if Real Sociedad fails to beat Betis in Seville on Saturday or if the azulgrana win Real Madrid on Sunday in Barcelona, a classic to be directed by Arantza Gallastegi, a referee attached to the Basque College.
Second match-ball for Barcelona to proclaim themselves league champions. The azulgrana could be champions without playing on the same Saturday if Real Sociedad does not beat Betis in Seville, one of the four Matchday 24 matches to be played on March 12. In the first round match, the Blue and Whites won 4-0 with doublet by Nerea Eizagirre and goals by Gemma Gili and Iris Arnaiz.
If Real Sociedad ends up winning, Barcelona will have to win their match against Real Madrid on Sunday at the Johan Cruyff stadium to be able to sing the alirn this day. In the first leg, the azulgrana already prevailed in the capital by 1-3 with doublet by Lieke Martens and a goal by Irene Paredes.

Among the eleven that Arantza has directed in the First Iberdrola, where she has drawn 16 yellow cards, there are three with the presence of Barcelona (victories 1-4 against Levante, 1-10 against Sevilla and 0-8 against Villarreal) and two with Real Madrid as the protagonist (victories 3-0 against Sporting de Huelva and 1-0 against Rayo Vallecano).
