The Superior Court of Justice of Aragon has dealt a new blow to the covid passport, which numerous regional administrations in Spain imposed as mandatory despite having been shown that vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 did not prevent contagion or transmission. However, Regional governments such as Aragon and others maintained the obligation to have to show it to be able to access bars, restaurants, hospitals… A meaningless measure, which actually induced contagion, since many vaccinated people understood that by the simple fact of being vaccinated they were safe, which was not true.
Barely The Community of Madrid, in a more than correct decision by President Díaz Ayuso and her counselor Ruiz Escudero, stood firm in the decision not to require the passport to be compulsory, become more of a control instrument than a measure to prevent the spread of the virus. The Aragonese TSJ has now declared null and void the order of the government of the socialist Lambán at the behest of Liberum, the same as other courts before. Curiously, the covid passport, despite its ineffectiveness, is valid in the EU until June 30. Its extension is not ruled out. Does anyone know the reason?
