Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle popularly known as Joe Mettle is a Ghanaian gospel musician and a songwriter. He was born on July 5 to Emmanuel Mettle and Florence Addo in Accra, Ghana.
Joe Mettle began his primary education at the Richard Akwei Memorial School and later joined Kade Primary school where he studied for a year. Joe Mettle then moved from there to Korle Gonno 3 JHS and later graduated from His Majesty Academy. He studied draftmanship at Modern School of Draftsmanship. Then he finally has his tertiary education at the Pentecost University College, Accra.
Joe Mettle was the first gospel musician to be Artist of The Year at the Vodafone music awards. He has also received a lot of awards at various awards programs organised in the country and across the continent.

Joe Mettle’ Career
Joe Mettle started his music career as a backing vocalist for some gospel musicians in the country. He then rose to become the lead singer of an indigenous multicultural singing group, Soul Winners.
With his music career, he featured on South Africa’s Broadcasting Corporation TV show, Gospel Classics which featured Donnie McClurkin.
In 2007, Joe Mettle founded the Joe Mettle Ministries which organises two annual gospel shows in the country, Praiz Reloaded and Love gift in December every year.
