Christopher Mellon, former intelligence chief and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence during the Clinton and Bush administrationshas asserted that it is probable that the United States possesses technology of non-terrestrial origin obtained from the space programs of other civilizations.
Mellon’s statements arise in the context of a scheduled congressional hearing on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) which will take place soon. In anticipation of the event, Mellon has expressed that he expects new information to be presented at the House Oversight Committee hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena.
“I hope Dave provides some new information that we haven’t heard before,” Mellon said in an interview with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo on Monday night.
The former defense official assured that has received information from official Defense Department sources and former intelligence officials confirming the recovery of technology of extraterrestrial origin. However, these claims have been disputed by other government officials, such as Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick of the Department of Defense’s Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
Mellon noted that there are credible witnesses who are in direct conflict with Kirkpatrick’s statements. Given the discrepancy, Mellon suggests that Congress should take responsibility for investigating the matter of recovered technology.
The hearing scheduled for this week will feature three military witnesses, including David Grusch, a veteran of the Air Force and intelligence agency, who previously went public with shocking claims about a secret UFO recovery program in the classified realm.
These events revive the debate on the presence of extraterrestrial life and the possibility of non-terrestrial technology in the hands of the United States. The revelations of the former defense official open up new questions about the limits of our knowledge and the possibility of encounters with civilizations beyond our comprehension.
The congressional hearing will be an important step in moving us closer to a better understanding of these unexplained phenomena and paving the way for future research. that could change our vision of the universe and our own existence in it.
