Vincent Morenountil now coach of Espanyol, said goodbye to the club and the fans at the RCDE Stadium this Friday and stated that “it has been worth being here these two years”.
The Valencian technician, in an appearance without questions, insisted that the atmosphere had “rarefied” in recent times and pointed out that the best solution was an exit. Moreno arrived at the entity in August 2020.
The coach confessed that he is leaving “with the satisfaction” of having achieved the objectivesreturn the club to the top category, last year, and consolidate it in the First Division, as it has achieved this campaign mathematically.
Moreno, who confessed that he has “always” felt loved by parakeet fans, recalled that upgraded “successfully” and added that “getting it so clearly detracts from it.”
The coach, accompanied by the club’s CEO, Mao Yeinsisted on his gratitude to the soccer players and the workers of the entity: “Without the performance of the players, the work of a coach would not be possible”.
After his appearance, Espanyol showed a video with the best moments of Moreno’s time at the club, with special emphasis on promotion to First Division. “I leave with the satisfaction of belonging to an entity with a brutal growth capacity”, I concluded.
