The Peruvian international Renato tapia, footballer of the Celta Vigo, has not been able to travel to Seville by not exceeding covid-19, so he will miss his fourth game of the current championship, only one less than in the entire 2020-21 season.
The midfielder is one of the nine first-team players who have tested positive for coronavirus, although most of them have recovered in time to face Betis this Sunday at Benito Villamarín.
The loss of Tapia will force Eduardo ‘Chacho’ Coudet to position the U21 international Fran Beltrán as a defensive pivot, with Denis Suárez as a hitch in the line of three flyers that places him behind Iago Aspas and Santi Mina.
Argentine winger Augusto Solari, with a fibrillar tear in the plantar fascia of his right foot, and Brazilian striker Thiago Galhardo, with a grade I fibrillar tear in his right biceps femoris, are out due to injury.
