simon howardaged 66, died at York Hospital on February 27, 2022 after suffering an overdose of insulin which caused her “unstable diabetes” and epilepsy. Howard was an aristocrat responsible for committing sexual abuse of minors in the past according to justice.
In November 2021, a jury found that Howard, a father of two, had attacked a girl in 1984 on a farm he owned that had been the scene of a shooting. popular series like Bridgerton and Brideshead Revisited. The defendant denied the charges at the time and was finally declared unfit to stand trial for a cerebral hemorrhage after having suffered a fall.

The heads of the hospital center offered an apology to the family.
The family’s personal assistant, Christine Sadler, who was helping Howard with his medication, said during the inquest that just a few weeks earlier his usual dose was 18 capsules in the morning and the same at night. The investigation established Howard was possibly “intoxicated” when he fell down the stairs at his home in 2020, where his son found him, took him to the hospital and left him with permanent brain damage.
The family of the deceased runs the manor house Castle Howard. He had managed the company that managed the Castle Howard noble estate, which he ran for 30 years. After a family dispute he moved out of the manor house to live nearby at Welham Hall. The Howards of Castle Howard are descended from a younger son of the 9th Earl of Carlisle.
