A beauty pageant by camels in Saudi Arabia has ended with the disqualification of 43 of these animals by finding in them Botox injections or facial stretching, illegal practices that are prohibited in this type of event in the country.
Specifically, it was a specialized medical committee that discovered these cosmetic manipulations in the camels during the first round, which is why they were disqualified at the same time.
Among the findings, that 16 of these animals had Botox injections and another 27 had face lifts. An unusual reality that had not been seen since the first edition of this event called the King Abdulaziz Festival of Camels. And there are already seven.
A very common practice
The funny thing at this point is that really this type of fillers to highlight the eyelashes of dromedaries or botox to reduce the nerve signals of camels are very common practices in this type of event, despite being prohibited. That is why the administration of the festival has blocked the possibility of this happening in order to maintain the health of these animals.
But then why are these cosmetic operations performed on camels? According to the Saudi news agency SPA, for “improve your overall appearance in order to increase your price, fool those who want to buy it or get a prize, “which, as in this case, scales to millions of dollars.
